Dr. Canoun is a board-certified, Harvard-trained plastic surgeon. He has been in practice since 1999. Dr. Canoun performs an entire range of aesthetic surgeries, including minimal access facelifts, nasal reshaping, short scar breast reductions, endoscopic brow lifts, and gel breast augmentations. Dr. Canoun was previously the director of the cosmetic surgery clinic and craniofacial surgery at the Medical College of Virginia.

![]() Adrianne Gonzalez, RN, C-MEP, CE
Adrianne Gonzalez is Encore Medspa’s lead RN, C-MEP, CE. She has been a Registered Nurse since 1993 and has devoted her nursing skills in the esthetic field since 2004 and is constantly continuing her training in conjunction with running the spa and serving her patients.
Adrianne’s injection experience makes her an innovator of cosmetic injectors. She has developed her skills by taking a multitude of classes that allows her to offer her client’s several techniques that aren’t offered anywhere else.
Adrianne is a speaker for both Allergan and Medicis Aesthetics. As a certified trainer, she has trained several nurses and physicians throughout Northern California. Adrianne provides information on the proper procedures for each injectable as well as product protocols, updates, and precautions.
Prior to working at Encore Medspa, Adrianne cared for patients at Kaiser Permanente in Walnut Creek for over 10 years in their Labor & Delivery department. She enjoyed helping women deliver their babies and keeping them as comfortable as possible as they welcomed their new arrivals.
Adrianne grew up in the East Bay and has been a local resident since 1985. She is involved in several community events and organizations, including serving on the committee for the Annual Auction Gala at Alamo Elementary School for the past three years.
Whether she is working in a hospital or spa, Adrianne enjoys helping men and women to look better and feel better about themselves.

Cindy Grounds is Encore Medspa’s primary laser nurse and has been exclusively working in medical aesthetics for over four years.
After working in the medical surgery field for over 10 years, Cindy developed an interest in skincare, and decided to put her efforts into helping people feel better about themselves through medical aesthetics.
On her off time, she enjoys racing her Corvette. Cindy has a loving husband and two grown children.

Ann is the face of Encore Medspa. She has been with Encore since it was established in 2004. She ensures that every client has everything necessary to have an enjoyable and efficient service.
Ann has been a resident of the East Bay since high school and she has 4 daughters.
